UCL–NVIDIA Robotics Day Coordination & Showcase

I had the great pleasure of coordinating the UCL–NVIDIA Robotics Day, bringing together colleagues across the UCL Robotics Institute, UCL Advanced Research Computing (ARC), and UCL Engineering to engage deeply with NVIDIA’s cutting-edge robotics stack.
The event was a tremendous success with over 170 sign-ups. During the afternoon session, we featured five excellent UCL robotics research showcases, where I had the opportunity to present and discuss our latest research in humanoid robotics and learning-based control.
A special thanks to the Intelligent Robotics Group @ UCL East and UCL Innovation & Enterprise for their invaluable support in making the day run so smoothly. I am also grateful to all the attendees, speakers, and contributors who made this possible, including Patrick Gilday, James Hetherington, Sarah Spurgeon, Geraint Rees, Dimitrios Kanoulas, Alex Li, Igor Gaponov, Ziwen Lu, Zezhi Tang, Michelle McGrath, Lorenzo Jamone, Will Lovegrove, Tianhu Peng, Miguel Xochicale, Zhengqi Chen, Polly Marston, Van Alstyne, Leah Frenette, Steve Davey, and Andy Grant.
I am looking forward to building concrete collaborations from here and advancing the next generation of embodied AI!
